Help! Please call Senator Pat Roberts office

Help! zPlease call Senator Pat Roberts office

Sen. Pat Roberts KS R
(202) 224-4774 (202) 224-3514

Ask him to sign on to the bi-partisen letter to the President asking
that he continue to increase funding in his FY08 International Affairs
Budget request.

It is greatly important for the US to remain engaged in the world and
utilize all the tools and resources needed to strengthen US national
interests and values.

It takes two minutes---

"Hi my name is _________ from ________ Kansas. I am calling Senator
Roberts to urge him to sign on to the bi-partisen letter to the
President to continue to increase funding in his International Affairs
Budget request."

Please let me know if you were able to call and what response you were
given.

Thanks in advance!

KC ONE Campaign Update

Hello Everyone,
Thank you to everyone who joined us at Broadway Cafe and braved the weather yesterday for World AIDS Day. Just a quick note to everyone letting you know that we will be taking a break this December from messages and meetings and rejoin in a month to kick off the 2007 KC ONE Campaign planning, which we hope all of you are able to make it and join!
In the mean time we will continue to post messages to the Blog (http://kc-one.blogspot.com/) with any events that will be taking place in Kansas City in the interim. Like the below:
"My name is Jeff Semple. I am traveling to Cambodia in January to meet with organizations and ministries who are working against human trafficking. I am hoping to come back with a better idea of how we can be involved at the local level in helping to stop modern day slavery. In order to raise awareness and support for this trip I am playing at Coffee Girls (310 Southwest Blvd) on Dec 15th from 7-9pm."
Cheers, Happy Holidays!
