We will have our local ONE Campaign volunteer meeting tomorrow night, Monday May 15, at 7pm at the Black Dog Coffeehouse in Lenexa, 12815 W. 87th Street. This is an important meeting as we enter into summer. If you are interested in volunteering at any of this summer's concerts and events, this is the meeting to come to! We'll be in the meeting room in the back of the coffeehouse.
Also, next Sunday, May 21, we need your help at the Troost Fest, anytime between 1pm-8pm on the 3100 block of Troost. It's an all day festival celebrating the history and restoration of Troost Avenue and it's neighboring areas. It's going to be a great time, but we need all the volunteers we can get. Sorry I have not made an event yet, I am just now finding out about the local one chapter in KCMO!
I am a large supporter, on the advisory board of the recent Global Health Symposium, and the board for 2 local non-profits, one of which is involved in Global Health.
